For more than 30 years, I have dedicated my work to preserving the culture, values, and traditions of Colorado’s Russian-speaking community. Throughout those years, I have also provided informational support to local entrepreneurs, helping businesses grow and strengthening our broader business community.

Today, at a time when political forces too often divide people, our initiative group believes it is especially important to bring different cultures together. Through the Colorado Commu-nity Times, we hope to build bridges—helping people understand one another, discover new opportunities for cooperation, and find meaningful ways to work, communi-cate, and enjoy life together.

We want to introduce Colorado’s English-speaking residents to the rich cultures, traditions, and perspectives of people from across the former Soviet Union—including the Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, Armenian, Georgian, Uzbek, Tajik, Tatar, Jewish, and many other communities. History has shown that living and working together creates opportunities, strengthens communities, and contributes to shared prospe-rity.

If we can help make life in Colorado more interesting, joyful, and connected, our dream will be fulfilled. But a small edito-rial office cannot accomplish this alone. It requires the com-bined efforts of our staff, readers, businesses, and community partners.
